Alternative To Typical Synthetic Supplements Is Needed, Say Experts Entire food supplements is currently a topic of worldwide interest. A profusion of evidence has recently come to light suggesting that regular synthetic multivitamin supplements may be hazardous to your health. Goran Bjelakovic, a well known scientist from the School of Copenhagen, headed up a massive meta-study that viewed the results of 67 placebo-controlled trials previously performed to look for the effects of vitamin and anti-oxidant supplements on longevity. In the end, the scholarly study combined observations of 232 000 test subjects. Through the use of such a big population sample, a report can become much more powerful with regards to spotting large-scale styles and overcoming human bias. The results of the analysis, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, were nothing significantly less than shocking. Taking a look at patients with diabetes, cardiovascular disease and lung malignancy, as well as healthy, normal individuals, there is no apparent benefit to taking popular fractionated supplements like Supplement A, Supplement E, Vitamin C, Selenium, or beta-Carotene. Actually, the results went in the opposite direction - there was a greater chance of loss of life (16 percent) amongst Supplement A users, a 7 percent higher death rate among beta-Carotene users, and a 4 percent mortality upsurge in Supplement E users. Beta-Carotene and Retinol, marketed as anti-carcinogenic agents, may promote lung tumor. That is right - pills marketed as helping you towards an extended, healthier life are actually correlated with a speedier demise. This research used typical supplements on the market made from synthetic vitamins. To add salt to the wound, a recent study published in the British Journal of Nourishment under the unimaginative title of "Ascorbic Acid Supplementation Does Not Attenuate Post-Exercise Muscle Soreness Following Muscle-Damaging Exercise But May Delay The HEALING PROCESS" indicated that supplementation with anti-oxidants from synthetic sources may reverse many of the beneficial effects of physical training. Now, this isn't to state that vitamins or anti-oxidants are harmful to you. Definately not it - these supplements were created based on solid science. Anti-oxidants are believed to protect cells from the ravages of free radicals still. The nagging problem, rather, is the basic proven fact that you can get those advantages from synthetic isolated substances. Disease and the aging process are usually far more complicated than test-tube studies can account for. Furthermore, the problem of bioavailability can be an ever-present concern. Many typical synthetic supplements include huge amounts of the publicized vitamin, but absence the additional compounds had a need to ensure that their key substances are actually absorbed by the body. Passing straight through the digestive system, these 'miracle health remedies' often find yourself doing little beyond offering people expensive urine. To the rescue...Entire Food Supplements. Just wanted to say hi to everyone who enjoyed their stay in Wildflecken. I left my hometown in 85, but was lucky to go back from 87-90. Would love to hear from anyone that likes to share some great memories. I have met some great friends through this guestbook. It would be great to have a chatroom for the rhoenline.

I am glad that you are retiring for yourself, however, I am sad that you will not be teaching incoming classes. You were an excellent teacher.

Thank You!

Good morning Mr. Holland!  I stopped in to show my wife and kids your website.  I see you have changed it up some since I last saw it November 2014.  I hope you and the Chief of Staff are well.

Mr. Lee Holland is a true asset and blessing. He has a big attitude, a big heart and passion unlike I've ever seen. The day he retires will be a bitter sweet good bye but so well deserved.

Thank you Mr. Lee Holland for all of your stories, your enthusiasm and your refreshing down to earth way.

Your passion is contagious...GOD BLESS AMERICA

Mr. Holland

Quite a few years ago I spoke to you on the phone from my home in Chesterfield. I was thinking of buying a MV and was looking for some basics from you.

I now live in Amelia and have my second tank on site and a Humber Pig APC.

I was wondering if you were still active in MV ns if you were still associated with the MVPA(which I have been a member of for several years now)
